The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is looking for motivated students at Viadrina to join the Local Board (LB) and make a meaningful impact.
The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is a network of like-minded universities focused on fostering innovation, inclusion, and collaboration across Europe. ERUA promotes interdisciplinary research, student mobility, and joint initiatives aimed at rethinking the future of higher education.
What Is the Local Board (LB)?
The Local Board is a platform where students can actively engage with ERUA’s mission to promote innovation, inclusion, and collaboration in higher education across Europe. As part of the LB, you’ll work with students, staff, and faculty to:
- Coordinate ERUA activities at Viadrina.
- Provide feedback and insights for alliance-wide projects.
- Ensure representation of the local student community in ERUA decision-making.

Every LB member plays a crucial role, but specific opportunities include:
- Collaborator: Bridge communication with the local Student Council.
- 2 Chairpersons: The Chairpersons organize and lead LB meetings, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration within the group. They may also take on additional responsibilities, such as coordinating with the university administration and overseeing major projects.
- Social Media Manager: Manage ERUA’s online presence and communications.
- Finance Manager: Handle budgets and explore funding opportunities.
How to Apply
Submit a short motivational letter (max. half an A4 page) that includes:
- Why you’re interested in joining the Local Board.
- A brief introduction about yourself: What you study, your current semester, what is your experience with student engagement etc.
